Theaimofthefollowingresearchisthevalidationofeducationaltools,called“3DDice,”created tofosterperspectivetakingskillsinprimaryschoolchildren.Perspectivetakingcanbeconsidered asocio-cognitivecapacitythatenablespeopletosee,imagine,perceive,orthinkwhatotherssee, imagine,perceive,orthink.Beforeacquiringthiscapacity,childrenhaveanegocentricinterpretationof theworld,andonlyfromtheageofsevenonwardsdotheybegintoacquirecognitivedecentralisation facultiesthatenablethemtosimultaneouslyconsiderandcoordinatebetweenalternativeperspectives. Thisabilityisnotinnatebutcanbetrainedthroughspecifictraining.Forthisreason,intheLab-H oftheDepartmentofHuman,Philosophical,andEducationalSciencesattheUniversityofSalerno, “3DDice”hasbeendesignedandphysicallyproducedusingtheSharebotOne3Dprinter.
