Based on Radio Frequency Identification Technologies (RFID) and Information Technologies (IT), this study has highlighted some basic problems about stock management, such as real time inventory position update and information visibility of supply chain. A simulation model has been proposed to investigate how RFID and information sharing can modify the inventory policy. Different simulation scenarios corresponding to different Supply Chain configurations are discussed to obtain the performance improvement.

Abstract
