A real-time system for assessing crucial model parameters of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells is proposed, focusing on state of charge estimation and open circuit voltage characteristic identification. A fourth-order bi-linear co-estimator based on an equivalent second-order circuit model of the cell is analyzed and verified through a processor-in-the-loop technique. The system's effectiveness is demonstrated using a real-time controller and experimental data of a LiFePO4 battery cell.

Abstract
A real-time system for assessing crucial model parameters of lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells is proposed, focusing on state of charge estimation and open circuit voltage characteristic identification. A fourth-order bi-linear co-estimator based on an equivalent second-order circuit model of the cell is analyzed and verified through a processor-in-the-loop technique. The system's effectiveness is demonstrated using a real-time controller and experimental data of a LiFePO4 battery cell.File in questo prodotto:
