This article illustrates how ICT technologies can meet the current needs of tourists, with a focus on food and wine tourism. It outlines the new trends and needs of food and wine tourists in Italy, influenced by Covid-19, environmental disasters and increased attention to sustainability. Tourists today want more information, to personalise the tourist experience, towards sustainable and quality tourism. So we need new innovative tools, possible today with ICT technologies, especially with integrated web portals that have all the information related to a specific territory. International bibliography is lacking on the subject, so it is useful to examine the 'case study' of the integrated and innovative model of a new web portal, called 'lacucinacampana.it'. It offers information on typical regional food, in 10 languages and supplemented with all the useful information for tourists, so that they can easily build their itinerary using the thousands of available cards. The portal satisfies all the typical needs of a food and wine tourist, confirming that ICT technologies can be "enablers" of a better and customised experience. As these needs are similar everywhere, this conclusion can be extended internationally. Other ICT technologies may also be oriented towards such functions in the future.
