A new vector model of magnetic hysteresis based on a novel class of play hysterons was discussed. The vector generalization was obtained by the introduction of the generalization of the Play vector. The identification of the model from experimental data was illustrated by using scalar and vector hysteresis measurements and the behavior of the model under alternating as well as rotating fields was studied in details.
