This contribution highlights the similarities and differences in didactic methodologies in the upper school and the university. Different functions of these formative agencies are recognized and correspond to the evolutionary profìle of the users, which conveys not negligible peculiarities regarding potentialities, interests, and behaviour. In the last few years there has been a certain coming together, in that the secondary school has tried to give a more scientific approach to disciplinary coments, while in the university there has been a growth in the relationship between teachers and pupils. This article stresses particularly the didactic implications of this phenomenon.
