Actually, Lapio district (Avellino province)represents a reliable example of the relationship between wine productionand territory development. The present study reports the geological andmineropedological features of the selected territory and aims at appraisingthe typicalness of a prestigious wine production, the Fiano di AvellinoDOCG by spreading the results of such an interdisciplinary study.
