The present paper addresses the integration and sustainability of product compliance with a special reference to the lifecycle design and product development phase. The research stems from an industrial project aimed at assessing the electromagnetic compliance (EMC) within lifecycle design of a new product, to avoid expensive modifications during the production phases. The work has been conducted for the development of an electronic board for automotive. It focuses on the definition of the information flows, their sources and content. Product lifecycle phases are rearranged in a structured approach, based on product information traceability and concurrent engineering principles, fully integrated into the quality management system of the company.

Abstract
The present paper addresses the integration and sustainability of product compliance with a special reference to the lifecycle design and product development phase. The research stems from an industrial project aimed at assessing the electromagnetic compliance (EMC) within lifecycle design of a new product, to avoid expensive modifications during the production phases. The work has been conducted for the development of an electronic board for automotive. It focuses on the definition of the information flows, their sources and content. Product lifecycle phases are rearranged in a structured approach, based on product information traceability and concurrent engineering principles, fully integrated into the quality management system of the company.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
