This paper aims to demonstrate how a concurrent, real-time, object-oriented programming paradigm named RTO (Real Time Objects) can be a suitable basis for building the software of an intelligent measurement system. After presentation of the paradigm, the paper describes the software architecture of an RTO-based measurement system, and discusses its advantages in terms of modularity and reusability.

Abstract
This paper aims to demonstrate how a concurrent, real-time, object-oriented programming paradigm named RTO (Real Time Objects) can be a suitable basis for building the software of an intelligent measurement system. After presentation of the paradigm, the paper describes the software architecture of an RTO-based measurement system, and discusses its advantages in terms of modularity and reusability.File in questo prodotto:
