The effects associated with the transport phenomena inside the fuel cells, including the multiphase nature of the flow were studied using a mathematical model. Different operational conditions were evaluated to determine the influence of input parameters on the fuel cell operation. The results showed a strongly combined effect of the variables on the cell performance. In many cases, as for the temperature, the impact over the cell performance was not linear and an optimal point can be found

Abstract
