This paper, from the new motivations behind the tourist consumption in rural areas, offers a discussion about the opportunities for tourism development that can arise from theseconsumption especially for those areas that, without major tourist attractors, have combinedin a widespread rural and open those critical success factors that can respond to a new demandfor rural tourism and plural. To this end, we propose a theoretical model through which to locate and read the underlyingfactors of competitive development of tourism and rural spaces, the possible configurationsthat do derive from it and the application of this model to the system of inland areas ofCampania. In particular, we will study some success stories: the experience of Borgo Anticodi Castelvetere sul Calore and the combination of “typicality - tourism development” in therural area of Taurasi (province of Avellino).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
