Abstract
A simple regular-lattice model for a bio- tissue composed of multilayer spherical cells consist- ing of four nested radial domains (nucleus, nuclear membrane, cytoplasm and plasma membrane) with frequency dependent membrane capacitances is in- troduced, and its thermal response to pulsed elec- tromagnetic exposure is computed. A steep tem- perature raise in the plasma or nuclear membrane is predicted, depending on the spectral energy content of the applied field, without any significant macro- scopic cell temperature variation.File in questo prodotto:
