Abstract
The publication presents the results of a theoretical analysis oriented to the assesment of the effect of the elastic-compliance with information accuracy hypothesys. The pubblication shows that some widely accepted conjectures should be revised under the elasti-compliance hypothesys; in particular, the Advanced Traveller Information Systems are shown to be not suitable in order to induce system-optimum traffic patterns in traffic network. Similarly, the widely diffuse conjecture that ATIS could lead to traffic network instability is controverted for cases in which the information is accurate and the elasticity hypothesys considered.File in questo prodotto:
