The paper presents the results obtained from a preliminary experimental assessment of a novel method which relies on Compressed Sampling (CS) of electrocardiographic (ECG) signal. The mathematical model for CS-based acquisition of ECG signals and its feasibility for practical implementation for an Internet-of-Medical Things (IoMT) system are described. Herein, the presented experimental results demonstrate the robustness and convenience of the proposed method.

Abstract
