The introduction everyday more frequent of highly innovative and sophisticated Technologies capable to access tissues, organs and cavities of the body up to now unreachable, has modified impressively the professional activity of the pathologist. not only these settings, but the presence of unusual or atypical pathological conditions, partially due to the appearance of new diseases /SARS, TBC, XDR, H5N1 and Ebola virus) and partially connected with the changes in the therapeutic options and schemata, have as well played an important part in this professional activity modification. therefore, the pathologist is not any longer a merely reviewer of somebody else's work; instead the pathologist is coming closer to the bed of the patient, becoming part of the treating staff and not only during an oncology - specific disorder, but for non neoplastic conditions as well

Abstract
