In this work, we propose an innovative approach for the dynamical analysis of a periodi-cally-forced system. It consists of constructing a discrete map that can be studied using a pop-ular and robust continuation code (AUTO). The proposed method is applied to a system of two CSTR with a periodically inverted feed, previously studied via direct simulation by Żu-kowski and Berezowski. The new approach reproduces all previously identified behavior, and discovers new details of the system bifurcations.

Abstract
