Product Traceability Information: an approach for information linking

This paper addresses the integration of the CE marking during its design and development phases. It mainly focuses on the realization of a procedure that allows the achievement of the CE marking during development of a new product with information traceability along all the design phase. The developed procedure focuses on the definition of the information flows, their sources and related format. The approach defined is based on Product Information Traceability and concurrent engineering method and is fully integrated into the Quality Management System and the Information System of the company.
